A newly published 2004-2005 annual report from Danish IT company ScanNet, shows the company increased its gross profits from DKK 24.9 mn (USD 3.9 mn) to DKK 30.8 mn (USD 4.9 mn). Net profits rose from DKK 12 mn (USD 1.9 mn) to 14.5 mn (USD 2.3 mn). In an analysis carried out by Erhvervsbladet and KOB this spring, ScanNet was selected for the third year running as the best at generating profits among internet suppliers, hosting companies and web designers in Denmark.

ScanNet's largest growth area is IT hosted solutions from Microsoft, leased via the internet. Kenneth Madsen, sales director of ScanNet comments: "We are seeing significantly increasing demand for hosted solutions of Exchange, Microsoft Office, share point services and Navision in particular". ScanNet expects growth and earnings will continue to rise.

ScanNet was founded in 1995 and is based in Kolding, Jutland. The IT service company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. In addition to ScanNet, the company group comprises ScanCommerce, Eurovator AB, Adux and Cronus. The news was reported by Erhvervsbladet.
