Copenhagen based IT company Groupcare has entered a JV with Datasoft in Bangladesh to develop new software

The Danish IT company Groupcare has entered a JV with Datasoft in Bangladesh to develop new software. Datasoft was selected out of 20 companies which carried out test projects for Groupcare. The new JV means that Groupcare can speed up recoding of its software platform into Microsoft.net. Groupcare is investing DKK 4.5 million (USD 810,000) in the JV project, and also plans to employ more people in Denmark. Staff from the Danish IT company will teach system developers in Datasoft how to develop Groupcare's software. The news is reported by Computerworld.

Groupcare is a leading supplier of web-based collaborative tools. It develops user-friendly software for extranet, intranet, project management and virtual network. In Denmark more than 85 companies and 450,000 users communicate and collaborate via Groupcare's software. Customers include Novo Nordisk, FOSS and Fredericia Municipality.
