Copenhagen based IT manufacturer Soft Trading doubled its revenues in 2004 to more than DKK 20 mn (USD 3.4 mn). Soft Trading makes mouse pads in glass and steel sold under the names Icemat and Steelpad. Most of the high-end products are exported to markets such as China, Germany and the UK. Soft Trading sponsors Counter-Strike teams in Germany, Sweden, UK and the US, as well as the Titans in Denmark which has won several major tournaments. Jacob Wolff-Petersen, founder of Soft Trading says the teams advertise for the company, and give responses to new products. Soft Trading has also entered agreements with companies such as Intel, Microsoft and Logitech so that mouse pads are sold in packages together with the best PC mouse products from these companies.
