Danish software company WPA wins Microsoft’s international partner prize

WPA was recently announced winner of Microsoft’s international partner competition, which awards partners who have developed exceptional Microsoft-based solutions.
WPA - Wireless Pocket Applications - has been awarded Microsoft’s partner of the year award in the category Mobility in competition with companies such as Unisys Corporation, Sysgold and Dexterra.
WPA won the title for developing a planning- and reporting system for service companies with ‘mobile’ employees.
The solution makes it possible for e.g. construction workers to register the amount of time spent and write service reports at the client’s premises; furthermore, the system may be integrated with finance control solutions.
The reasons for WPA’s being awarded the prize are that the solution is 100 % .net based; it may be used with Microsoft’s finance control solutions all over the world and finally that it is a standard solution for the entire service area.
