Denmark's Kapow Technologies has gained a contract with Audi to supply Kapow's RoboSuite software for integration of applications in portal solutions

Kapow Technologies headquartered north of Copenhagen, has gained a contract with Audi to supply Kapow's RoboSuite software for integration of applications in portal solutions. Audi's internal portal solution has 50,000 users, and Jonas Almstrup, sales director of Kapow Technologies says the firm's software has the potential to be used as a strategic platform in the entire VW group.

Kapow Technologies last week presented a new version of its RoboSuite software in the US which is expected to be ready for market launch by the turn of the year. Jonas Almstrup comments on the company's software: "With our tool companies do not have to make changes in underlying systems. We only integrate on the web user interface and that makes it possible to more rapidly standardise systems and working procedures".

Earlier versions of RoboSuite have been supplied to customers such as Bank of America and WellsFargo with portal solutions from BEA Systems. The British mobile company Vodafone also uses Kapow's technology for integration of acquired competitors' systems on Vodafone's shared intranet platform. The news was reported by Computerworld.
