The Danish Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Helge Sander, has invited the Indian IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran to enter a 5 year IT collaboration agreement

The Danish Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Helge Sander, has invited the Indian IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran to enter a 5 year IT collaboration agreement. The government plans to forge closer ties between Danish and Indian companies, research institutions and educational institutions. The invitation includes a number of proposals on how collaboration could work in practice.

 

According to Helge Sander, closer ties will benefit innovation and the efficiency of the Danish corporate sector as well as helping to attract capable IT researchers to Denmark. The Minister says that Indian companies can offer a great deal in software development, and that India has great export potential for Danish companies. In 2004, Helge Sander visited India and entered a similar collaboration agreement regarding biotech. The news is reported by ComputerWorld.
