An innovative collaboration between the two Danish companies has resulted in an order for 500 Dynaudio Acoustics studio monitors from DR, Denmark's state run TV and radio company

An innovative collaboration between Dynaudio Acoustics and TC Electronic, two Danish companies located in eastern Jutland, has resulted in an order for 500 Dynaudio Acoustics studio monitors from DR, Denmark's state run TV and radio company. The DKK 7.5 mn (USD 1.4 mn) order, which was put out to tender in the EU, comes only a few months after BBC Radio & Music chose Dynaudio Acoustics as its main supplier of monitors.

Peter Bager, sales manager of TC Electronic says the two contracts have great marketing value since both BBC and DR are well recognised in the radio and TV world: "We also see an opportunity in the future to supply monitors to the gigantic, ultra-modern media complex that CCTV, the Chinese TV channel, plans to build in Beijing for the Olympic Games in 2008", he says.

Dynaudio Acoustics handles the development of the monitor unit, while TC Electronic takes care of the digital electronics and amplifier technology in the monitor. TC Electronic also distributes Dynaudio Acoustics' studio monitors worldwide. The news is reported by daily financial newspaper Børsen.
