Finnish equity fund Capman has invested DKK 29 mn (USD 4.9 mn) in Scanjour, a Danish software supplier of solutions for electronic document handling, knowledge sharing and staff administration. In 2004, Scanjour was selected as a supplier of electronic case and document handling solutions to the public sector in Denmark.

Tommy Valther Hansen, investment director of Capman comments on the fund's investment: "Scanjour has shown impressive growth and has a solid market position in the public sector. A more strongly capitalised Scanjour can create a good platform to ensure the company's position as a market leader in Denmark, and also expand the business to other Nordic and European countries".

Scanjour's managing director Bo Schor is pleased with Capman's investment, and says that Scanjour now is prepared to exploit the expected market growth in the coming years.

In Scanjour's recently completed fiscal year, the firm generated revenues of DKK 90 mn (USD 15.3 mn), a 25% year-on-year increase. Scanjour is based in Copenhagen and employs 130 people. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
