GN establishes wireless headset development centre in Aalborg

GN, a Danish developer and manufacturer of communication products such as headsets and hearing aids, is currently recruiting people for a new development centre in Aalborg, northern Jutland. The new centre will be a part of the GN Mobile division, which also has a development centre in Copenhagen and in Xiamen in China.

The Aalborg based centre will develop wireless headsets with special focus on mechanical design, acoustics, hardware and production testing. The centre will open 1 October and will be located in premises at Novi Science Park. GN aims to gain contact with the mobile phone development environment in Aalborg as well as Aalborg University. The news was reported by Computerworld.

GN is a manufacturer of headsets, hearing aids and audiologic diagnostics equipment. The company which is headquartered in Taastrup close to Copenhagen, has more than 4,500 staff of whom 3,700 are employed outside Denmark. GN's revenues are almost exclusively generated outside Denmark with North America as the largest single market. GN is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
