Innovation Lab based in the IT city of Katrinebjerg, Aarhus, has now also established a presence in the new IT Growth House at the IT University of Copenhagen. Symbion Science Park, the Alexandra Institute, Innovation Lab Katrinebjerg and Science Park Aarhus are the four main parties which have set up the IT Growth House. The aim is to create an environment which can attract and unite new as well as established companies and researchers, and to hatch new ideas and create growth.

Entrepreneurs at the IT Growth House as well as students and lecturers at the IT University of Copenhagen can draw on Innovation Lab's knowledge on new IT technology and pervasive computing. Innovation Lab also has an extensive contact network to international centres which focus on for example pervasive computing.

Microsoft has also placed a unit at the IT Growth House. Jørgen Bardenfleth, managing director of Microsoft in Denmark and chairman of the IT Growth House's operational company, said recently that he hopes several established companies will place their development departments there. So far 18 companies have set up in the IT Growth House.
