US venture company Kennet Venture Partners has invested DKK 38 mn (USD 6.5 mn) in the Danish software company Kapow Technologies

US venture company Kennet Venture Partners has invested DKK 38 mn (USD 6.5 mn) in the Danish software company Kapow Technologies. The money will be used to expand the company's US organisation, and to further develop its web integration products. Kapow Technologies markets a software, RoboSuite, which makes it possible to integrate web based content and applications into portals, content management systems and knowledge management systems.

 

Thomas Weilby Knudsen, chairman of Kapow Technologies says significant revenues are being generated in the US, but with a relatively small organisation which needs to be enlarged: "We would like to do that with the support of a US partner", he adds. The news is reported by Computerworld and on Kapow Technologies' website.

 

Kapow Technologies was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Hørsholm north of Copenhagen. It partners with companies such as BEA, IBM, CoreMedia and Unilog. Customers include Intel Corp, USACE, the US Government, Deutsche Post, Barclays Bank and Lycos Europe.
