Møller & Devicon, a Danish based company manufacturing machines for the healthcare industry, has grown rapidly since the firm's share majority was acquired by Bosch in 2003

Møller & Devicon, a Danish based company manufacturing machines for the healthcare industry, has grown rapidly since the firm's share majority was acquired by Bosch in 2003. Ten years ago, the then purely Danish company employed 20 people. Today that figure has grown to 120 and in the last two months eight new staff have been taken on.

Henrik Hinz, project and sales engineer at Møller & Devicon says: "It has been very beneficial to the firm to have been acquired by a large foreign concern. We can feel the Bosch effect. Everyone knows that name, and when you present equipment under that name, you don't have to explain so much. We are planning to expand further in 2006".

Møller & Devicon designs, manufacturers and sells machines, complete lines and turnkey projects to the healthcare sector. The company is headquartered in Sandved, south of Copenhagen. It is a member of the Bosch Group. In 2008, the remaining 49% shares in Møller & Devicon will be sold to Bosch, an agreement which was made when Bosch acquired the share majority in 2003. The news was reported by Erhvervsbladet.
