A new survey of companies in the Danish internet industry conducted by the analysis agency KOB for Erhvervsbladet, shows a climb in average revenue growth from 9% in 2003 to 18% in 2004

A new survey of companies in the Danish internet industry conducted by the analysis agency KOB for Erhvervsbladet, shows an average growth in revenues of 18% in 2004. This is significant progress compared to the year before where the average growth was 9.2%. A total of 412 companies in the areas of internet supply, web design and hosting were surveyed.

Jacob Lyngsø, director of the Danish IT Industry Association, says the progress is pleasing and in agreement with the reports that the Association receives from the industry.

ZitCom is an example of a company from the survey. In 2003, ZitCom generated revenues of DKK 7.5 mn (USD 1.3 mn) and in 2005 expects revenues of DKK 30 mn (USD 5.1 mn). It was ranked No.1 in the category 'growth' in the survey. The news is reported by Erhvervsbladet online.
