Norwegian network supplier IPnett has opened an office in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen. IPnett was established in 1999, and has been among the fastest growing IT companies in Norway in the last two years. Sigmund Eikaas, group chief executive of IPnett says the company's objective is to become a leading Nordic player in its niche area. "There is a great need in Denmark for a company which concentrates on high competence in IT network and security", he adds.

 

IPnett is a leading supplier of IP based communication and security solutions. The company is headquartered in Oslo, and generated revenues of DKK 70 mn (USD 12.6 mn) in 2004. IPnett represents manufacturers such as Nortel, Juniper Networks, Check Point and Blue Coat. The news is reported by Computerworld.
