PremiTech, a leading Danish software company, plans to increase its sales efforts on the US market, backed by its investors

PremiTech, a leading Danish software company, plans to increase its sales efforts on the US market. The firm has established a sales office in New Jersey and has made agreements with a number of US dealers covering the east coast, Washington DC and California. PremiTech's investors have given their backing to the expansion. The specific sum that will be invested has however not yet been disclosed.

Jan Ishøj, managing director of PremiTech comments: "Our future lies in the US, so we will double our efforts on the US market". Jan Ishøj says the company has sold products to major companies such as GE and Novartis in the US, but only to a limited extent. Part of the sales activities will be targeted to increase sales to these companies.

PremiTech specialises in IT system performance monitoring and optimization. PremiTech's Performance Guard solution is reportedly the only one of its kind to deliver real-time data on IT system performance from the end-user's perspective. Investors include Mærsk, Dansk Ervhvervsinvestering and Strandgade Holding. PremiTech expects to generate revenues of DKK 30 m (USD 4.8 m) in 2006, corresponding to 45% annual growth.
