Copenhagen-based BullGuard has entered an agreement with Germany's Medion to install BullGuard's security software in all Medion computers in the future

Copenhagen-based BullGuard, a producer of security solutions for PCs and mobile phones, has entered an agreement with the German computer manufacturer Medion to install BullGuard's security software in all Medion desktop and laptop computers in the future. BullGuard was chosen in competition with large US producers of security software.

Heini Zachariassen, managing director of BullGuard, says: "It is an amazing deal for us, our first with one of the major computer manufacturers, and it shows that we can match the biggest players on the market." BullGuard's security solution will be installed in Medion computers with a free 3-month trial period. "We have similar agreements with small manufacturers, and we know it is something that boosts sales because many continue as paying customers," says Zachariassen.

Medion's computers are sold throughout Europe, with Germany generating the largest sales. The agreement with BullGuard comprises computers on all Medion's markets, and is forecast to increase BullGuard's revenues by millions of Euro. The news was reported by Computerworld.
