Denmark's H2 Logic has won an international contract for delivery of fuel cell systems for a new generation hydrogen-powered electric city car
H2 Logic, a Danish system and market integrator of hydrogen and fuel cell technology, has won an international contract for delivery of fuel cell systems for a new generation hydrogen-powered electric city cars from Think Technology, a Norwegian developer and manufacturer of environmentally friendly electric vehicles. H2 Logic will develop the fuel cell system together with Denmark's Dantherm, and Canada's Ballard Power Systems will supply the fuel cell stacks.

H2's head of development comments: "We are proud. The order, which we won in tough competition with a number of major international companies, is a breakthrough for us and a recognition of H2 Logic and our staff. Over the last couple of months we have doubled our workforce and we are still recruiting."

The Think hydrogen project began in 2004 with a DKK 8.1 m (USD 1.5 m) grant from the research Council of Norway. Phase 1 of the project was recently completed, and H2 Logic will be involved in Phase II which makes use of Think hydrogen, a prototype of an electric city car, into which H2 Logic's fuel cell system will be incorporated. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
