Microsoft has chosen Denmark's Infonizer, an ERP company focusing on solutions for automotive dealers and services, as an Industry Builder Partner

Microsoft has chosen Denmark's Infonizer, an ERP company focusing on solutions for automotive dealers and services, as an Industry Builder Partner. Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer last week announced the news at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference in Boston, where three other foreign companies also were selected as partners.

As part of the agreement, Microsoft will market Infonizer's IT solution under the name Dealer Management System for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Henrik Nielsen, strategic sales manager at Infonizer says that one of the reasons for choosing Infonizer is because of the functionality of the firm's global solution for car dealers. Infonizer is a subsidiary of the Nellemann Group, which has more than 100 years' experience from the car dealer industry.

Mr. Nielsen expects Infonizer's customer base to grow following the agreement with Microsoft. "At the moment we have five customers, but since we have only been in existence for 12 months, we are proud of that. The ERP area is known for having plenty of competition. But right now there are many car dealers who have old IT systems, so there is an obvious opportunity here" says Henrik Nielsen. The news was reported by ComON.
