USA's Bridgehead Group acquires stake in Danish nanotech firm

Bridgehead Group has acquired a stake in NIL Technology for DKK 100 m from Science Park CAT and a Danish state organisation
Science Park CAT and an innovation organisation of the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation have sold their ownership of nanotech firm NIL Technology for DKK 100 m (USD 17 m) to USA based Bridgehead Group, an international business consulting, venture capital and investment banking organization.
NIL Technology was established in January this year, and is based on an invention of a new stamp for nanoimprint lithography (NIL), which is used for production of electronic chips. The invention has attracted attention in the semiconductor industry because it helps chip producers in their battle to make semiconductor chips increasingly smaller.
Theodor Nielsen, managing director of NIL Technology and the inventor of the firm's stamp says: "It is a great opportunity for us to get an investor who is building knowledge in our area, and which also can contribute with customers in the future." The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
