Danish software company cBrain is the first company to implement a listing on Copenhagen Stock Exchange via the internet

cBrain, a Danish software company specialising in developing process based business software, has been listed on Copenhagen Stock Exchange (CSE) – the first company to do so via the internet. On 9 February, cBrain opened its subscription for shares on the company's website, and in just two hours all new shares had been subscribed.

Per Tejs Knudsen, CEO of cBrains comments: "We consider ourselves to be pioneers by having found an inexpensive and efficient way to become listed on the stock market, and we are naturally very happy about the considerable interest that investors have shown cBrain from the start. We believe that other companies can use the same method, which could strengthen the Danish entrepreneurial environment."

cBrain was founded in 2002 and is based in Copenhagen. The company supplies software solutions in areas such as document handling, enterprise content management, case management, CRM, portals, e-trade, e-purchasing and member administration. cBrain's solutions are based on a new software technology called service architecture. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
