Danish software company AutIQ AS, based in Fredericia, has launched a groundbreaking software platform which combines elements from Business Intelligence and expert systems with the use of artificial intelligence. The patented software can 'understand' the significance of collected data, interpret them and deliver proactive expert responses.
The technology can reportedly create substantial competitive advantages including reductions in IT and operational costs. Dennis Thomsen, managing director of AutIQ AS says:
"There are today many products and technologies which all focus on creating an overview of the fast-growing amount of data. But all existing solutions are dependent on experts who assess and interpret the significance of the data. AutIQ is the next generation of software where computers can take over a number of those tasks which otherwise are handled by experts. The specific knowledge is imbedded in virtual experts which are connected to the AutIQ platform and thus always present."
The AutIQ platform has been under development since 2002, and has been tested by JN Data, an IT operational centre of financial companies Jyske Bank and Nykredit.
"In principle, the AutIQ platform can be used in virtually all business areas which are characterised by large and complex amounts of data that require expert interpretation, e.g. diagnostics, logistics, shipping and especially IT network, says Thomsen.
AutIQ AS is owned by the US investment company TNE, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona and is the US firm's first European investment. The news was reported in a press release from AutIQ AS.
