CCI Europe to supply editorial system to US top media group

CCI Europe has received an order from USA's Tribune Publishing Company for a centralised editorial software system
CCI Europe, a Jutland based software company which develops and supplies cross-media solutions worldwide, has received an order from USA's Tribune Publishing Company for a centralised editorial system. According to calculations by financial newspaper Børsen, the order could be worth DKK 60 - 90 million (USD 10.2 - 15.3 m).
Dan Korsgaard, MD of CCI Europe says that the contract with Tribune will have even greater economic potential in the long term. "We have gained an important breakthrough with the new agreement. The Tribune solution is a standard solution which we now will market to other large newspaper groups in North America and the rest of the world. We are also enlarging our market area because small newspapers can also use the system if they go together in central clusters."
Tribune Publishing Company is one of the USA's top media groups, operating businesses in publishing and broadcasting, reaching more than 80% of US households. In publishing, Tribune operates 11 leading daily newspapers including the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and Newsday.
Darko Dejanovic, chief technology officer of Tribune Publishing Company says: "We produce a large amount of content at group level each day. Our overall objective has always been to ensure as high a quality of content as possible, making it easy accessible for the entire organisation, and the implementation of a consolidated system will support this objective." The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen and in a press release from CCI Europe.
