The solutions are used by molecular biologists and biochemists to improve and make more efficient research in DNA, RNA and protein related areas. CLC bio's freeware programme CLC Free Workbench is used by more than 40,000 researchers worldwide via the internet, a number which reportedly is increasing by 1,500 users per month.
