Copenhagen to host Microsoft Convergence 2007 EMEA conference

Over 3,000 delegates are expected to flock to Copenhagen for Microsoft's Convergence 2007 EMEA conference in October
Copenhagen has developed a strong reputation for attracting major IT conferences, and the trend continues this year. Iconic software giant Microsoft has chosen the city to host its Convergence 2007 EMEA conference on the Microsoft Dynamics product range, which will bring over 3,000 IT industry gurus, executives, suppliers, analysts and journalists flocking to the Danish capital from every corner of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Microsoft has previously chosen Copenhagen to host its events; the company's IT Forum on future infrastructure was held here in both 2002 and 2004. But the Convergence 2007 EMEA conference, to be held in October, is a significant step up in scale.
A spokesperson for Wonderful Copenhagen, the official convention and visitors bureau for the capital, comments that hosting this event is especially gratifying, since IT and medico are the priority industries for which the capital is trying to attract major conference events. The news was reported by Idag.
