More Audi models to be supplied with B&O advanced sound system

Germany's Audi and Denmark's Bang & Olufsen are extending their collaboration so that all Audi models apart from the A3, can be supplied with B&O's Advanced Sound System
Germany's Audi and Denmark's Bang & Olufsen (B&O), one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-end audio and video equipment, are extending their collaboration so that all Audi models with the sole exception of the A3 can be supplied with B&O's Advanced Sound System. Up to now, B&O's sound system has only been available for top-of-the-range Audis.
 
Jyske Bank forecasts that B&O can make additional sales of DKK 750 m (USD 135 m) following the new agreement with Audi. B&O is also planning to collaborate with other leading car brands. The news was reported by professional journal Ingeniøren (The Engineer).
 
B&O was founded in 1925 and is headquartered in Struer, Jutland. The company manufactures a wide range of sophisticated consumer goods including televisions, music systems, loudspeakers, telephones and multimedia products. B&O employs more than 2,400 people and its products are sold in some 60 countries worldwide. In 2005/2006, B&O generated revenues of DKK 4.2 bn (USD 756 m).
