Danish software company CDM, which develops Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, has entered a global partnership agreement with Microsoft. CDM will play an important role in Microsoft's growth ambitions in the CRM market, particularly regarding  sales to the pharmaceutical industry for which CDM has developed a specialised software system.

Susanne Christoph, product manager for CRM systems at Microsoft says: "We have a clear ambition to grow at a faster rate than the market in CRM. We believe the agreement with CDM will create synergies in several ways. We will see growth not only in software revenue, consultancy and implementation, but also in related solutions like document management and integration. The partnership with CDM, which has a strong focus on certain industries, is a big step in the right direction."

Microsoft will market CDM's specialised software solution to pharmaceutical companies in Denmark and abroad. A new global partnership agreement with an as yet undisclosed international IT consultancy company will help Microsoft and CDM to spread its CRM solutions worldwide.

CDM is based north of Copenhagen and has offices in Norway and Sweden. The company's customers are major Nordic companies in the telecom, financial and pharmaceutical sectors. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
