SimCorp gains order from Finnish fund management firm

Denmark's SimCorp has received an order for its asset management platform SimCorp Dimension from Finland's Tapiola Asset Management
Denmark's SimCorp, a leading provider of highly specialised software and know-how for the financial sector, has received an order for its asset management platform SimCorp Dimension from Tapiola Asset Management, Finland's 5th largest fund manager. SimCorp Dimension will replace a local standard and cover front-to-back office operations including accounting and fund administration.
 
Tom Liljeström, managing director of Tapiola Asset Management says: "We are confident that with SimCorp Dimension we have chosen the new international market standard in Finland. Having implemented SimCorp we are convinced that Tapiola will gain a very strong position on the Finnish capital management market."
 
SimCorp is headquartered in Copenhagen and employs 750 people. The firm's products, SimCorp Dimension and IT2, are sold, implemented and supported from Copenhagen and subsidiaries in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, New York, Oslo, Stockholm, Singapore, Sydney and Zurich. SimCorp is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen and in a press release from SimCorp.
