Software company Zoomio raises multimillion investment

Via Venture Partners has invested DKK 37m in Danish software company Zoomio, which plans to open a new international sales office every six months
Via Venture Partners (VVP) has made one of its largest investments to date by putting DKK 37m (USD 7.4m) into Danish software company Zoomio. The money will be spent on software development and to pursue Zoomio's ambitious growth strategy, which includes opening a new international sales office every six months and continuing to double its revenue each year.
"Zoomio has a strong management, a unique product and an impressive list of results so far – so we firmly believe that the company can meet both our high expectations as well as its own", Peter Thorlund Haahr of VVP said in a press release. Mr. Haahr joins the board of the company following the investment.
Zoomio has developed Zoomio Campaigner, a platform for digital direct marketing which enables customers to automate marketing campaigns and combine communication channels such as telemarketing, e-mail, SMS and direct mails.
Managing director of Zoomio, Per John Jensen, said that venturing onto new markets requires capital. "So we invited Via Venture Partners into our group of investors. We have had a prolonged dialogue which has underlined the company's business understanding and professionalism as well as the good chemistry between our companies."

Zoomio is headquartered in Copenhagen and is represented in Germany, the Netherlands, USA, UK, Sweden and Russia. The company's product design is primarily carried out in Denmark, while programming is handled in Islamabad, Pakistan.
