Three Danish IT companies, Ementor Danmark, WM-data and Fischer & Kernn, have made it to the final of Microsoft's 2007 Worldwide Partner Conference Awards Programme. Ementor has been nominated in the category for best customer solution, and WM-data for the best security solution, while Fischer & Kernn has been nominated in the Office category for an Outlook model the company has developed.
The winners will be announced at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference which is currently being held in Denver, Colorado. 7,500 partners from around the world are attending the conference. Microsoft writes about the finalists that: "These outstanding partners have demonstrated significant customer impact, originality, effective time-to-market, deployment of advanced features, and optimization of Microsoft technologies to solve a business need."
Microsoft has more than 600,000 partners worldwide, divided into three categories: Registered Partner, Certified Partner and Gold Certified Partner. In Denmark, Microsoft has approx. 3,000 partners of which more than 2000 are Registered, 800 are Certified and 80 are Gold Certified. The news was reported by Computerworld.
