Danish wind energy consulting company Make Consulting is strengthening its business with an office in the US, reports the finansnyheder.dk website. The Århus-based firm is opening an office in Chicago, thereby giving them a presence in a total of three countries: China, Denmark and the US.

Make Consulting was founded by Torben Bjerre-Madsen and Morten Breum Keller, both of whom are known names in the wind energy industry. Bjerre-Madsen was managing director of NEG Micon, which merged with Vestas – Denmark's and the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer – in 2004, while Keller was formerly head of investor relations at Vestas.

On its website, Make Consulting writes that its documented experience from the international wind energy industry enables the firm to translate insight and market intelligence into a competitive advantage for its clients.
