Århus-based Dynamicweb Software has grown from being a small entrepreneurial project to the largest supplier in the Nordic region of Content Management Systems (CMS) in 10 years, writes financial daily newspaper Børsen. The company has just published its accounts for 2007/2008, which show a 19% year-on-year increase in revenue to DKK 60m (USD 10.9m).

The dynamic enterprise has focused on growth and expansion on export markets. Christian Beer, MD of the company says: "The strategy has resulted in the acquisition of the Norwegian distributor, so that both Sweden and Norway are now served through subsidiaries. We have also opened markets in Greece and Spain, so our products are being sold on 13 European markets. We are considering entering a new market abroad next year. But our focus is on increasing revenue on the existing markets."

Christian Beer founded Dynamic Software in 1999 together with a fellow student Nicolai Pedersen at the Aarhus School of Business. Pedersen is now the development director of the company. Dynamicweb Software has 120 staff and more than 4,000 clients in the field of CMS and e-commerce. Beer told Børsen that the two founders have no current plans to sell the company:

"That is not on the cards right now. And market conditions are not conducive for a sale either. But in the long term, it is an opportunity that we will be open to, if the right offer comes along."
