Gatehouse launches new tracking product for road transport

The north Jutland based advanced communications systems company has launched a product targeted at land-based transport companies
North Jutland based advanced communications systems company Gatehouse, which for many years has supplied solutions for tracking and optimising shipping traffic, has now launched a product targeted at land-based transport companies reports financial daily newspaper Børsen.
 
Gatehouse's new product, ghTrack, builds on its experience with AIS (Automatic Identity System) solutions and is described on the company's website as a flexible and scalable vehicle tracking and fleet management solution based on its general purpose development platform for tracking, monitoring and control.
 
Gatehouse specialises in technical software development and system integration for advanced communication systems, and employs 85 people at its facility in Nørresundby. Børsen reports that the company generated profits of DKK 3.7m (USD 700,000) on 2007/2008 revenues of approx. DKK 61m (USD  11.5m).
