Danish electronics company ProShop Europe has gained an order for what is reportedly the world's largest indoor screen for the legendary German Formula 1 race track Nürburgring, writes professional journal Ingeniøren (The Engineer). The order for the 350 m2 LED screen was won by ProShop Europe's subsidiary Expromo Europe following an international tender.

Jens Ulrik-Carstensen, MD and co-owner of Expromo Europe comments in a press release: "We are very proud to have won the order for Nürburgring. Not only is it a very interesting project, but the order also confirms that Expromo Europe's strategy is the right one."

The screen will be 44 metres wide, 8 metres high and weigh more than 50 tons. It will have a resolution of 5,898,240 pixels, which will provide full HD quality, and be interactive so that for a certain area of the screen, visitors can decide what is shown.

Nürburgring is not the only place that has discovered the Danish company's skills in gigantic LED screens.  In connection with a total renovation of Werder Bremen football stadium in Germany, Expromo Europe will be supplying two LED screens of 75m2 each as well as 110 metres of LED perimeter display.
