This year's list of 100 most promising companies in EMEA, published by Red Herring, features five Danish IT companies
The international media company Red Herring, which each year publishes a list of the 100 most promising technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa has picked out five Danish companies as ones to watch in the coming year – Muzui, Napatech, SMSpasscode, Zmags and Octoshape. The news is widely reported in the Danish press.
Muzui is a platform for games where users can download free online and mobile games or create their own mobile games. Napatech develops and markets advanced programmable network adapters for network traffic analysis, while SMSpasscode offers a leading technology in two-factor authentication using a mobile phone.
Zmags is a leading provider of digital publishing software that enables customers to transform their PDF files into dynamic web presentations in seconds, and Octoshape has created a unique technology for streaming audio and video on the internet.
Red Herring writes on its website that since 1996, technology industry executives, investors and strategists have valued the Red Herring 100 lists as an instrument for discovering and advocating the most promising ventures. Previous well-known companies on the Red Herring top 100 list include eBay, Google and Skype.
