Swedish software distributor opens subsidiary in Denmark

The Swedish IT distributor Pedab is establishing a subsidiary in the Danish capital Copenhagen
The Swedish IT distributor Pedab, which already has subsidiaries in Norway and Finland, is now establishing a subsidiary in the Danish capital Copenhagen, reports Computerworld. Pedab also has a new agreement with IBM for distribution of its software programmes Lotus Notes, Tivoli, Websphere, Information management and Rational.
 
Pedab's managing director Jesper Bartholdson says in a press release: "We have long had plans for Nordic expansion. Besides Sweden we are also represented in Norway and Finland. It gives us a good feeling that we can now offer our services to partners in Denmark."
 
Pedab distributes both software and hardware from firms such as IBM, Lenovo, Novell, ISS, PGP and Adobe. The company employs around 50 people and has offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, and now Copenhagen.
