For the third year running, the Danish IT firm has made it onto IT magazine EContent's list of the world's 100 leading companies in the digital content area
For the third year running, the Danish IT firm Sitecore has made it onto US IT magazine EContent's list of the world's 100 leading companies in the digital content area, writes business.dk. Making it onto EContent's prestigious list allows Sitecore to share the elevated company of outfits like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Adobe, Amazon and Apple.
 
Founded in 2001 and employing 160 staff, Sitecore makes IT systems that are used to manage and edit the content of web pages. The system is currently used by more than 22,000 websites including those of Microsoft, Siemens, Manchester United, and Mazda.
 
In reference to Sitecore's selection for a top 100 listing, EContents Managing Editor said: "In common with the other companies on this year's list, Sitecore has demonstrated continued leadership in the digital content sector and is demonstrating innovation that sets the standard for everything that digital content offers."
