Risø and the Danish Gas Technology Centre are joining forces in a state-backed project to establish a test centre for hydrogen powered fuel cells
The National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Risø, and the Danish Gas Technology Centre are joining forces in a state-backed project to establish a test centre for hydrogen powered fuel cells, reports the latter in a press release.

The test centre will be built up in three phases over the period from 2010 to 2016, with the first funded phase running from 2010 to 2012. One of the main activities in this phase will be the development and standardisation of an accelerated ageing test for fuel cells.

The test centre, which is supported by a number of the most interested parties in the Danish fuel cell industry, will place its activities both at Risø and the Danish Gas Technology Centre. Risø will handle the more research-oriented work while the Danish Gas Technology Centre will take on the more practical testing and approval work.
