Danish Airports

Invest in Denmark has assisted Turkish Airlines and Minister for Trade and Investment appreciates the new air route: “"Denmark is known for its well-developed and efficient infrastructure and with Turkish Airlines’ new route we will strengthen that position. Flights and infrastructure are an important parameter when foreign investors decide where to place a new office or which companies and institutions they will do business or collaborate with."

Turkish Airlines is a member of Star Alliance with a fleet of 179 aircrafts flying to 193 cities around the World and was rewarded as the best European airline by the consumer ranking group Skytrax.

Aalborg Airport doubles number of passengers

Since year 2000, Aalborg Airport has quadrupled the number of international passengers and doubled the total number of passenger to almost 1.4 million in 2011, still with a main focus on domestic flights. Billund Airport reached 2.7 million passengers with around 140,000 domestic travels.
