Chairman for Guoxin Investment Group Mr. Wang, says:
- “We have decided to invest in the property Sølyst in Nyborg as our new domicile. It will function as a meeting center where Chinese investors and other interested parties can be based while they explore and negotiate with Danish colleagues and stakeholders. Sølyst has been selected because of the beautiful setting facing The Great Belt, the central location in the country, the good infrastructure and the very fine reception by both Nyborg Municipality, Invest in Denmark and the other companies and stakeholders which we have met and with whom we are already negotiating concrete new cooperation deals. I am convinced that we can learn from each other’s way of working, thinking and doing business. “
The Danish Minister for Trade and European Affairs, Nick Hækkerup, met with Mr. Yan Wang after the opening, he said:
-“I’m very glad to learn that CGIG’s has invested in a European Headquarters and cultural exchange and knowledge centre in Denmark, and I’m convinced that the future Chinese management trainees at the centre in Nyborg will gain a strong insight into Danish strongholds within renewable energy, food production, food safety and health care which are all areas we expect to grow globally in the future.”
Last year, Invest in Denmark assisted 14 Chinese companies in establishing a business in Denmark, attracted by Danish competencies within fields such as photonics, acoustics or wind energy. Next to sector competencies, Chinese investors often choose Denmark because of the ideal location for a Nordic or European headquarters.
