Within the ICT cluster, Denmark boosts particular strong competencies within wireless and mobile technologies; from R&D in radio frequency technologies, Embedded software, Test equipment, Chip-set reference designs, MMI (UI), Mobile business solutions to production technologies.

Danish R&D companies offer competencies within all forms of R&D communication platforms - from wireless B-PAN to wireless MAN including satelite technologies. Many international corporations on the mobile market such as Ericsson, Nokia and Motorola have chosen to benefit from the favourable location and placed R&D facilities in the country.
