Germany's PC-Ware initiates negotiations to acquire Ravenholm Computing

(2005.11.23)

Germany's PC-Ware, one of the world's leading software dealers, has initiated negotiations to acquire Ravenholm Computing, a Danish software supplier

Germany's PC-Ware, one of the world's leading software dealers, has initiated negotiations to acquire Ravenholm Computing, a Danish software supplier based in Farum north of Copenhagen. Søren Rasmussen, the owner and director of Ravenholm Computing says: "Our two companies fit together very well in a cultural sense, our international customers will be represented in more countries and our staff will get a lot more opportunities. So a buy-up would be really encouraging".

The parties have not yet reached a final agreement, and Søren Rasmussen declines to disclose the price tag for the company: "We are getting close, and I hope we will succeed. If not, then we still have a good business which continues to run", he says.

Ravenholm Computing was founded in 1985, and is a subsidiary of Ravenholm Holding. The company has subsidiaries in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Switzerland as well as an office in the US. Ravenholm Computing has a broad range of software, and also sells books on computer usage. The news was reported by Computerworld.
