Germany's PC-Ware acquires Ravenholm Computing(2006.01.10)Germany's PC-Ware, one of the world's leading software dealers, has acquired Danish software supplier Ravenholm Computing for an undisclosed sumGermany's PC-Ware, one of the world's leading software dealers, has acquired Ravenholm Computing, a Danish software supplier based in Farum north of Copenhagen, for an undisclosed sum. Søren Rasmussen, owner and managing director of Ravenholm Computing says all staff will be needed following the acquisition and that it is likely more people will be taken on. Knut Lösche, managing director of PC-Ware comments in a press release: "The acquisition gives us the opportunity to establish ourselves in Scandinavia in a single step, as well as opportunities to generate and exploit various synergies". PC-Ware considers Scandinavia to be a highly interesting region with many attractive development opportunities. Ravenholm Computing was founded in 1985, and is a subsidiary of Ravenholm Holding. The company has subsidiaries in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Switzerland as well as an office in the US. Ravenholm Computing has a broad range of software, and also sells books on computer usage.
