Norsk Rikskringkasting, Norway's largest national broadcasting network, has chosen an e-procurement solution from Danish company Maconomy. 3,600 employees at NRK's Oslo and Trondheim HQs, together with 16 regional offices, will use Maconomy's solution to support requisition, inventory and procurement processes. NRK runs 2 national TV channels and 10 radio channels, and also has Internet and other new media interests. The order is of strategic importance for Maconomy’s activities in the Norwegian market.
Maconomy provides web-based business management solutions designed for project oriented organizations. The solutions integrate project management, customer relationship management and e-procurement with multi-company/multi-currency financials and reporting. Maconomy's customers include Deloitte & Touche, Edelman, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG and Xerox Industry Solutions & Services.
